By the way, I suppose you think you know my national origin, and assume it is not European. Bad assumption. I do not regard myself as a peon. Nor do I regard the many Europeans whom I work with, most with post graduate degrees and distinguished careers, as peons. Many of them came to the US to escape an increasingly onerous tax burden, as Cheryl suggests.
Actually, I have no idea what your background is, nor I consider you or anybody else [well politicians maybe -g-], as peons.
All I tried to do was clarify the "peon" thing. I read it as intentional rather than a misspell, but I could be wrong.
In any event... perhaps I should have let Robert explained on his own rather than stick my nose in what was clearly, not my business. I wished they would use the appropriate threads (i.e. political radioactive waste threads) for all this political stuff which is were it all started.
As for the melting pot thing, I could not agree with you more. Indeed as far as I am concerned, we could all do away with flags, borders, and the concept of nations, which in my eyes are the opium dreams of politicians to confuse the respective peoples.
Moi politically correct ? hehehe that's news to me I am usually told that I step on everybody's noses, so I will take that as a compliment -g-.
At this time I should then say that if the word was a typo and not intentional, then I withdraw my post and that's the end.
