Congratulations Frank, It's really great to hear that an old dog can still learn some new tricks. Now if you can only keep ET from giving me investment advice.....

very off topic....

On another note, this thread has affected many peoples' lives in many ways aside from the obvious monetary ones. The following are several examples :

Last month I had a bit of a health scare. One of our threadmates PM'ed me and guided me through some pretty scary days. He provided plain english translations for the mumbojumbo I was being told and offered advice, consulting and alternatives. I thank him for his kindness.

During one of our "meetings", DrId and I discovered we had similar taste in music. Last week, I received a cd of very rare Springsteen music sprinkled with Bill Murray snippets. I am still playing it at maximum volume. (Bruce singing "Who'll stop the rain" is my current fav.)

Finally, many of you may have heard about the thread "Vegas meetings". You may also know that the first one was held at the Desert Inn, which, over the years, had become a special place for my wife and I. The DI closed for good in August of this year, several weeks after our latest "meeting".

This evening, I came home to find a momento which simply blew me away. It's a picture box which contains a picture of the DI pool area (scene of several hearty G&K discussions), my ID card and a $25 chip. The idea that this was created by one of our threadmates was amazing enough but then I turned it over, I found personalized thoughts from everyone who attended that first meeting. This means that this very fragile item traveled across the country, making 5 stops before arriving at my home. Kay, Edy, Bill Jeff, Frank and especially MB, the picture already has a prominent place on the wall. Y'all are amazing. Thanks.

Quite an amazing lil group we have here.
