I have been promised free trades. However TD Waterhouse has to be reminded 2-3 times before they send out the free trade vouchers. REcently I have caught them overcharging on trades that I had to place on the telephone because their webbroker system was broken down. It took them 2-3 days to credit my account for the overcharge. Months ago I wrote a letter about a bad trade execution. Of course they ignored the letter until I kept on bugging them about it. Finally they credited $200 to my account. Months ago they were doublecharging commissions on the rollout of options. I would encourage anyone who does any options trading to carefully review the commissions. They will pick your pocket if you give them the opportunity.
