a true story paraphrased...Clinton was reviewing some military figures and he saw that there were 20,000 cattle guards in Colorado. As some of you might know, cattle guards are grates to keep cattle from wandering all over the place. So our commander in chief figures why do we have soldiers guarding cattle? He has a staff member get on the horn to Patricia Schroeder and she says that she doesn't know why the soldiers are guarding cattle, and he orders them removed. Of course, in reality "they" were never removed but what is sickening in the level of brainlessness in gov't.
