It appears that Gore, with some help from some his divisive, effete liberal friends in Maine and elsewhere, have alienated at least four separate groups within the past 36 hours or so, probably sending some to the Bush camp: 1) People who've had one OUI conviction and refuse to believe their lives and future are ruined, contrary to the message they're being given; 2) Reformed and recovering alcoholics, and their families; 3) Naderites, who might have switched to Gore but probably won't, now; and 4) Gays.

Bush stood up and admitted what happened, accepted the consequences, corrected his behavior, and learned from the experience. Can anybody even imagine what Gore would do in similar circumstances? Bush is a mensch.
