Lake Erie ...

Most water enters Lake Erie through the Detroit river at the western end and leaves through the Niagara river near the east end. One would think that this would cause the water to flow West to East. (The mouth of the Detroit is further south than that of the Niagara.)

One wouldn't expect people who don't live in the area to be all that familiar with the geography of the Great Lakes region. Too bad SD made the error: But it's worse that so many jumped on him for it. It's a common, honest, error.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. Niagara and Alaska are the two places one may stand on Canadian soil and look North to see the U.S.
