As you pointed out, most folks don't really have a choice except to participate. "I do not think SS is a scam but a successful gov`t program. You have a strange definition of success. "Barb i will ask you if your parents and grandparents have enjoyed the benefits od SS?" Of course they did, they were early participants. A more important question is, will our children and grandchildren enjoy anywhere near the level of benefits that our parents and grandparents did.
