>>>If you read what flatsville was posting, you know what Democrats care about, the nanny state. No hangnail, no rash, shall go untreated by a government program, if they have their way. No social ill shall ever be solved by the people if the federal government can prevent it, that's the way they think. They've never met a problem that couldn't be solved with a federal program.<<<

Given to hyperbole aren't we?

Tell me Coby how would you solve the health care issues for millions of elderly without Medicare? Are you, your husband, siblings prepared for bankruptcy court? Can you pay for multiple emergency room visits and intensive care stays out of pocket for multiple parents and grandparents without the help of public insurance to offset the cost? Hmmm...?

Your talk the talk of though love, but can you walk the walk? Put you wallet where you mouth is and try to have the "family" pay for all the costs without public insurance. Then we may have something to discuss.

Maybe you have some suggestions I might pass along to those parents of the severely disabled child on the ventalator dependent on Medicaid. They could quit their $8.00-9.00 an hour jobs (without medical insurance) and stay home to take care of their son around the clock? Families take care of their own right? But then how would they afford rent, food, medications, equipment, etc...? My what a dilemma?

Doesn't quite fit the "myth" does it?
