KEP, According to reports of "early" voting in Texas, people are voting in record numbers. In SE Texas, thousands of people stood in the rain yesterday, waiting to cast their votes for Bush.
You are making the universal mistake about Texas, and Bush. You, and other detractors, are quoting statistics about problems in Texas that were caused the inefficient administrations that preceded Bush. He had one hell of a mess to clean up, and has done an exemplary job in laying the groundwork for all of these problems to be solved.
Neither Texas, nor George W. Bush, are the same as they were 24 years ago, and yet that is what you are harping on. If you got current on recent Texas affairs, you would have nothing to make complaints about, and since you live around 2,000 miles away from Texas, you don't know what you are talking about. Try getting off the web, and do some traveling. It will be a great enlightenment to you.
I don't know why I am wasting my time. Tuesday night all of your sort will slink away into the dark void anyway. ~H~ |
