Some of us change more than others as we mature. To a large extend, this election is about change. The current Clinton/Gore administration has been consistent for 8 years. Unfortunately that consistency has been laced with compromising our national security in brute military and economic terms. The consistency has been extended to a diffusion of the American identity, which at one point meant confidence, freedom, and positive thinking. Instead, the nation has been told that we are needy and require breast feedings several times a day in order to stay alive, courtesy of Washington beaurocrats. I take the opposite viewpoint. This country is beyond adolescence and as a mature nation on the world stage, a lot of citizens (a dirty word these days) think that it is time to cut the umbilicle cord. If you look at the past 8 years, you will realize that the direction of the flow through that cord has been away from the people who are the engine of this country, with Washington doing all the draining, while telling us that we are getting the benefits. That deception must end.
