Hey Yaacov, you know too much!!! Actually, a quick Net-Search (tm) by me indeed found lots of info on International Terrorist "Carlos the Jackal". Check out www.emergency.com/carlos-j.htm for a great little story on the 1994 capture of Carlos. You are indeed correct, he was tried by the French and given life in prison (not a good thing in France either) for killing 2 French counter terrorism agents who were investigating the attack of an El Al jet in France. An interesting side-bar was that President of Syria Assad tried to cut a deal with Clinton (I guess that everyone knows that Clinton cuts back-room deals) to free his old buddy Carlos. I guess Clinton wouldn't bite that deal. -John
