thanks for the kind words. i've asked the si programmers to leave the original date, and to leave the thread header's 'mission statement', which i think is perfect. i'll probably add a thing or two, based on a few ideas i have and any input that is generated. but your name will get dropped, effectively removing you from the 'computer learning' inbox message loop. <g> my name will be inserted there in its place. they haven't told me when this will happen. i guess soon.
