DUI important as it shows a glimpse behind the facade which Bush has been desperately trying to keep a lid on.
He says he "learned his lesson" but that's a total lie. He was an alcoholic for ten more years after this DUI arrest. Also he says he hasn't touched a drop in 14 years but you can download a tape of him at a wedding in 92 getting plastered and making rude remarks to people. Just hiding from the truth. Possibly in denial himself as he never got tratment for alcoholism or dylexia, both which he suffers from.
