Wrong, the evidence is clear to anyone who has followed the events of the past 8 years that Gore is a serial liar, who has broken the law on numerous occasions during his time in public life.
Further, he will say or do anything if it means getting a vote here or there. Examples include. "I hoed it, I plowed it, I suckered it, and I sold it" in regard to tobacco. Years after his near crying speech on the floor of the Democratic convention where he vowed to do everything in his power to prevent smoking on his sisters death bed. His lies regarding his mothers prescription drugs, "it's the same pill as my dog, yet costs three times as much". His denial that he knew it was a fund raising events in regard to the Buddhist monks when it clearly violated the law. His illegal calls for donations from the White House, and his repeated call to bring forth the "politics of personal destruction", by playing a central role in attempting to destroy innocent women who were sexually harassed by Bill Clinton.
These character issues go to the heart of effective leadership. Whopper Al is simply too partisan, too untrustworthy, and a person without courage or a sole to lead this nation. He is nothing more than a puppet, who has been handled, coddled, and told what to say for most of his adult life in order to reach this moment.
Lucky for us, the American people are too intelligent to be fooled by a charlaton like Whopper Al. And we would much rather have an honest person like George Bush, who has shown more humanity, decency and class in the last 6 months on the national arena, then Bill Clinton, or Al Gore have in 10 years on the national scene. |
