Ooppss.. one more post tonight...

I saw you and Frank discussing some email so I figured I would track back and see your post...

My first impression was that this was a re-hashed diatribe someone dug up from the Reagan/Carter campaign.. Or even the Clinton/Bush campaign...

Because if this is the worst that someone who went to school with George W. Bush at Yale can actually say about the guy, that's pretty pathetic...

Lord knows I was a TERRIBLE student in HS. I hated doing homework and I hated math. But boy, I could wiz through the history exams, biology, and other subjects for the most part... But due to my not doing the homework, I simply had such a terrible GPA, I didn't think I would ever be admitted into a college.

But low and behold... I finally make to the university (through the back door of a junior college first), and realized that college life was AWESOME. Go to lectures, read the books (many of which I read anyway for "fun"), take a couple of exams, and do a couple of term papers every semester....

I LOVED IT!!! Coulda been Magna Cum Laude had it not been for one too many "issues" arising between myself and a couple of professors (and that terrible time with Algebra.. :0).

But I was a fine enough student to qualify for our local chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, of which I became president for a year. And in such capacity I was able to meet some interesting folks like John McCain and others...

Just goes to show that EVERYONE can improve. I can imagine some of my high school teachers writing that very same letter about me were I ever to run for public office someday.

But figure the odds on that ever happening considering the written record of arguments I've left out here on this thread... :0)

Ok... time to celebrate that 9 point Bush lead over Gore....

Me voy a la cantina.....

Buenos Nachos...
