What percent of Texans can read much less vote? Maybe 40%. So 70% of 40% is 28%. Yup 28% of the vote is a mandate. Gee Wilikers Bush really tears 'em up down there in Texas. Typical response from a liberal who can't develop a logical reason as to why Texan voters reelected Bush with 70% of the vote; the voters must be idiots. It should also be pointed out that the then Lt. Governor of Texas, Democrat Bob Bullock, endorsed Bush during reelection. He must also have been an idiot, no? It will be interesting to see how you rationalize the outcome of the presidential election should Bush be elected.
