My take is that AT&T won't make any major decisions until they decide about what to do with CEO Armstrong. The guy is in a hot seat....the T board may not keep him. Remember McGinn of Lucent as of 10 days ago? The decision to switch will have to be made by Armstrong's successor. This guy, if staying against all odds, would not dare to risk further politically.
