Hi Bill: Here are my thoughts and perspective on FONIX (OTCBB: FONX) The company has products in the hands of key customers already. It has a host of deep pocket partners and customers. Financially, the company is in the doldrums as evidenced by the S2's they issued this summer....a lot of stock is sliding into the market which is causing a "price dip". I talked to the gents at the FONX booth. They have great products and they are being exposed to top customers..(they have their attention). They showed me a GPS/email/etc system for cars that they developed as a demo for INTEL. They also have the Compaq IPAC utilizing their speech technology...as a demo "proof of concept". The MiPad technology (tap and touch) was demonstrated at the MSFT keynote, and to me it looked like a Compaq IPAC being demo'd. they also said they are using natural language but are still "working on it." Here are some urls that speak to what MSFT is doing. SUI will be totally commonplace in 10 years. (speech user interfafe) voice software was running on their IPAC system at the demo... they called it "MiPad" research.microsoft.com it was tap and talk. It was all set up with Voice Developer Gateway imagery..and they say it is a huge initiative by Motorola and acknowledged that FONIX was a big part of it. I think the window for buying "cheap shares" may be closing as earnings are expected Nov 14 (have not confirmed that date).... and the dilution from the S2's gets absorbed by the market. I had this same situation with SCKT...where I bought it at 1.50...and it promptly went below a buck..and hung there... for about 4 months.... so I accumulated more... Personally, I think FONIX is stronger than the market thinks it is....but then again....I tend to be contrarian..in my purchases.... and realize...I am not a daytrader...so if it takes 2 or 3 yrs to get off the runway..that is fine with me... (but I do think it will be faster...)...all Just my opinions and perspective....I am not a techie...nor a financial wizard....my timing is not the best....I just try to buy low... and that tends to work...pretty well for me. smile...MIR
