Tony:

"AMD "no SMP until Q2-2001" will not see the light of day in servers from any of the big server OEMs, if ever, until at least 2002. Bookmark it. "

Comment: Gee Tony...Wonder if AMD can continue its string of record revenue and earnings quarters as its "spry Athy" product-based offerings evolve through the workstation, mobile and low-end server spaces before choosing to compete in the high end server space...If AMD's success in the PC space is any indicator, I, for one, like the chances of continuing exceptional revenue and earnings growth in the years ahead...Seems clear to me, Tony, that AMD has been wildly successful in any space in which AMD has chosen to compete with their "spry Athy"...Can't wait to see continuation of the "spry Athy" success story as it evolves through Y2001 in the workstation, mobile and lowend server spaces...Do you suppose that by the end of Y2001, INTC will have been successful in branding their workstation, mobile and low-end server produtline with what Paul implies is the new, but by all indications, hot selling(some time in the future if ever) "Kmart Blue Light Special" tag???
