What I think is silly is that now that I've presented you with the facts that the problem of military families on food stamps existed prior to Clinton taking office you want to talk about something different.

What I said was the it appeared to have level-off under Clinton. That is giving him credit?

Cohen has now proposed a food subsidy debit card to be used on base at commissaries to close the gap since a provision in the Food Stamp regs. counts off-base housing allowances as income making some families who would otherwise qualify ineligible. This is the first constructive thing that has happened as of late.

And let's remember on which watch this problem began.

And let's remember that plenty of so-called concerned Republicans have had plenty of time to address this issue and haven't.
