Singapore and China cannot be compared. I was sitting next to a representative of the Singapore government at a conference a couple of weeks ago. Singapore is small and intentionally makes it difficult for owners of cars (they do not want congestion) while spending big $ on mass transportation. Buying assets at $100k per vehicle in Singapore is reasonable (but still foolish, because of mass transport) in China it is crazy. Gary
