I haven't heard anything about Intel dropping RDRAM other than that story from Electronic Buyer, which Intel apparently denied. However I don't think (from experience now, too) RDRAM justifies the price difference and I think it will find limited application in desktop computers. I think the market has turned the corner, but we still face tax selling by individuals until the end of the year. As I have through the past two declines I'm just positioning myself in what I believe are the best long-term prospects.
