The solution is simple ... Corporal punishment. I doubt there's much 'cool' about having the skin on your arse shredded by a good lashing. Not sitting for a week (or month) doesn't earn much bragging rights. Better yet, hold the floggings in public places, (malls, school yards, centre ice between periods) and let those caught serve an examples. The solution is simple: If proper behaviour isn't forthcoming using lenient persuasion, rigorous enforcement is necessary. Cheers, PW. P.S. I believe every conduct has consequences: Some good, some bad. As strongly as I feel people are entitled to the rewards of their efforts, they also deserve full and appropriate punishment for their misdeeds. P.P.S. As far as parents feeling their kids are running with a bad crowd, none will admit that THEIR kids ARE the bad crowd. Until adults assume responsibility, kids never will.
