Bush says it's your money and we trust you with it. It's true in terms of tax-payers in effect owning the government Yet it is equally true then that the government debt is our debt. Therefore Bush and the GOP are basically proposing a massive credit card charge and postponing the debt pay-off possibly for a generation or more. Well I say at least pay off the Vietnam War or the S+L Debacle before we give the rich tax cuts. And I'm rich so I'm not prejudiced. Clinton has been paying off the debt for years. Bush seeks to reverse that process. High interest rates and inflation will be the first thing to happen, then recession and stagflation. And forget about protecting our environment. Zowie. You know I think Bush should realy clean up the mess in Texas before he creates another mess for all of us.
