Bruce,

Glad to hear that you retained your job and that
you are happy at Sun.

I believe SGI did the right thing not only because it
avoided severance pays and not only because the Origin
family looks very competitive (price/performance and
scalability) compared to the Starfire, but also because
it was the most respectable solution towards people like
you, your coleagues, and anticipating customers (who were
after all Cray customers).

So can you tell us how many did you sell?

Also, I understand that your group is pretty big and
that it has existed for years (even before Cray acquired it)
without making profits. How many people work over there
and when will the group (as a unit) become actually profitable
for Sun based on current selling volumes ?
