well since only a handful of the people make of the rich and the rest live from paycheck to paycheck and if given the choice would take 50 dollars a week over putting it a way for 30 years and that equaling over 100k before any profits do you really believe that system can work.. social security was never set up to be a retirement ,but for most it is the only income they will ever see..i for one do not want to live my life with watch dogs and a electronic gated house just to fend off the number of people that would be homeless and starved if we let the people have there money upfront... social security is not for the have's but the have not's.. that is one of bush's brainwashing moves,he has poor people convinced they could buy more beer now and who gives a f*ck later...that is all they hear,end of story... i could think of a lot of other things i can do with my money,but i thank the lord that i am one of the fortunate ones who has found a skill that i am able to live a comfortable life and do not look for loopholes to avoid paying my taxes to live in a country that gives me the opportunity to provide for my family like this.. betch every person here complaining about government spending and programs is also taking every shortcut in the book with there taxes and every loophole... go to russia,china,cuba,irag-then tell me how fortunate and blessed you are to be in america... g-d bless america ,land that i love...stand beside her and guide her, EVERYONE SING ALONG!!!!!!!
