Feshbach,

I think too many investors are enamored with the 12 month double and to suggest that is what is required to invest in a company only demonstrates the period in which the investor has been investing. Twelve month (or even 24 month) doubles are not the norm and investors need to get over it. Furthermore to suggest that a company trading at a cap of $400B is overvauled because it's revenues are $20B demonstrates little understanding of the causes that make up a company's valuation. To be clear I believe too many folks apply value principles to growth companies. However at the same time there is a value to growth... and growth can be overvalued... as well as undervalued. Bottom line - looking at only revenue multiple to make a determination on valuation is pretty myopic.

If your position is that CSCO is overvalued because it is trading at 20 times revenues then great... no more need be said... I'm not sure that many would agree with you given top line growth in excess of 50%, but we understand your position.
