There are plenty of examples of government abuse of health (Gulf War Syndrome, Agent Orange, etc.), the environment and safety (nuclear and toxic waste mismanagement at federal plants and military sites), and misappropriation of insurance funds (SS). Perhaps, dependent class is not descriptive since I'm referring to the use of the tax code to reward constituents with shelters, deductions, and credits. It pretty much covers everyone and rewards consumption over savings.
