50 cents on the dollar

Alybama Booby,

You are not posting as a redneck over here? Hmmmm.

I can't say that they will not piss $20 million in cash down the toilet...along with an additional $20 million...They may go insane....and completely reverse their great track record.

They paid $1.50 per share for CMRC....and now have made over $50 million in profit.

One of their Summer IPOs was Capstone Turbine......they invested at about $5.00 per share.....and Capstone is now about $50 per share.

Even though COOL trades at only $3.00 per share.....Winfield paid about $1.00 per share.

The idea that they have picked bad stocks.....or done poorly overall....is not correct.....and you know it.

The fortunes of their business going forward may be diminished somewhat.....but the fact is that their stock is trading at 50% of their liquidation value. Over 80% of their assets are cash and CMRC stock.

Even a conclusion of fair value requires you to not only ignore their track record....but also assume that they will squander away the difference between their book value and their market cap.....or $40 million.

This would be a real stretch.....as WCAP has gone from less than $10 million in assets....to over $90 million....in less than two years. Commerce One would need to go to single digits......not likely.

What "made WCAP what it is today" is Commerce One.....Booby. The idea that Commerce One is "done"...is somewhat goofy......and ignoring what Capstone is doing is somewhat goofy too. CPST is doing what CMRC did.

Good luck getting a better price, JR....and good luck if you are short....you will need it.

Q1 results will show a $3.00 to $4.00 increase PER SHARE in value....in one quarter......not bad for a $9.00 stock!
