As to the DUI, it is not a matter of paying his dues, it is a matter of the remarably poor judgement he exhibited at age 30, and the wanton disregard for the lives of others.

As to the larceny, he was arrested for stealing a Christmas Wreath.

I really am finding it funny listening to people excuse away this man's criminal past, as if to say it was years ago, or that he "paid his dues". By that measure, a man who served time in jail for murder, but was released 20 years ago would be a fit candidate.

Is it SO wrong to want to vote for someone who has NOT been arrested, regardless of whatothers may think of the severity of the crime?
