I want to SOFA yesterday. Lots of glass. Almost unequivocally that stuff does nothing for me, but as I have said before, truth in art is subjective. If you like it, more power to you. I want to get a sense of the artist's soul when I experience art. Glass doesn't do it for me.

I know quite a few glass makers and I think they are wonderful people and count some as buddies, like Weinberg, Pavlik and Ben Tre, but it is only Howard who I think is an artist.

That said, I thing Ferd Hampton who is the brains behind Habatat is honest and a pleasure to deal with and I think Marx/Saunders is a good gallery, but I also think you have to ask yourself why you can't find glass in an art gallery but have to find it instead in a glass gallery.

Glass is a whole separate market and at the present only tangentially related to the art market. The prices are amazing. I wonder how they hold up in the secondary market.
