I think so. To be honest I believe that ultimately freedom is the key issue. It's what resulted in the civil rights movement. Its what drove the founding fathers to establish this country. That party which offers freedom will ultimately win. The sad part for the Republicans is that the one issue of abortion makes the race close. If abortion was not an issue than the Democrats would be defeated so easily. In many ways the religious right need to understand that to win in the long run they need to change the hearts of people not though laws but through thought. This is why the left is so afraid of vouchers. The public school system is not about education its about turning out voters for the Democaratic party.
