<font color=brown> XL Another sector that might be on the move this week is the Insurance Property and Casualty group. PRE, TWK, XL have fabulous chart patterns, good earnings acceleration and are slated to report this week. PRE is trading above support at 51 5/8 and is close to its year high. TWK is already at its year high and it remains to see how earnings turn out. These are the kind of companies you want to hold for longer term instead of the blimpie techs which are good for swing trades, but still overbought. This sector will provide a safe haven especially if their earnings reports continue to display earnings acceleration as in the past.

XL trades at a 18% Discount PE Multiple of 16.2 X, vs. the 19.7 X average multiple at which the Insurance SubIndustry is priced.

XL is probably the best technically positioned of the group since its chart is in a position for upward movement if the report is good. Overhead resistance is still far enough away at 78 1/4 and support is at 71. Its formed a nice cup and handle chart formation and is just in a pivotal position for a breakout.

XL Capital Ltd. will broadcast its quarterly results conference call on Tuesday, November 7, 2000 at 10:00 AM

Its projected EPS % change next quarter is 140% and its EPS rank is 90, very solid. Its EPS % change last quarter was a hefty 134%.
