speaking of intel... you said last week that you sold some of your INTC calls to "test the liquidity". would you mind explaining that? what were you looking for? what did you find out? do you do this often? under what circumstances?

what effects liquidity of calls? and what's a way you gage it other than selling some as you did? is liquidity a factor in your buying decision as far as strike price and strike month? how do you judge it before your buying decision? i'd guess that open interest has much to do with liquidity. no?

the open interest i see on many calls or puts seems very small - is the market in options really that small as compared to stocks or am i reading it wrong?

you don't have to answer all these questions but just a few comments on options liquidity would be appreciated.
