i posted on what i've heard called dll hell to another person tonight. in that post i said,

"without knowing more about your situation, i would however suggest that you check to see if you have more than one of these .dll's. if so, you can try keeping the most recent one and renaming the other .abc or something similar just to get it out of the way. often two or more versions of the same .dll can be found on a computer and can cause lots of conflicts" #reply-14732447

i recommend that you conduct the same search on your system for redundant .dll's
