Hitler used the Christians in similar ways as they are being used in this country today. In many ways, this works because of the Christian concept "that they, and only they, know The Answer." This alone is false and can be very dangerous. In no way am I directly comparing the GOP to Hitler, but on the Conservative fringe, there are some very real similarities and none of these people are voting for Democrats. Note also that the Christian Right has been very quite in this election. Any thoughts to how that was accomplished? And why this constant need for an enemy in this country? Why do the conservatives in this country always need "to rally the people" against a common enemy?
