rowdy, #1 I will insult whoever I choose to insult, and nothing you have to say about it will change that. These threads are for debate. They are not Sunday schools. They are not intended for such as you that want to expound upon your own warped philosophies, and receive no rebuttal. It just don't work that way. Anything you say that I don't like, will be immediately attacked by me in the strongest language I am incited to use at the time. It you don't like that, keep your mouth shut.
Regardless of what you think, I know who my friends are on these threads, and that is no generalization. I said I didn't wand any well wishes from liberals, atheists, pagans, and queers. I didn't say I hated them. You accuse me of making generalizations, and then presume to tell me what Barbara Bush might think when, I am betting, you have never met her in person. Back in the 60's and early 70's, I knew her, and the President, fairly well. I make nothing of it now, because that was many years ago, and long forgotten by them, but I do have a better idea of how she thinks than you do.
You didn't just bring up "volunteerism". You made sure that everyone knew that you, yourself, professed to do volunteer work. That is boasting, and you are a liberal. Ergo, my comment was correct.
I listen to all philosophies, and cull out the ones I don't like. Some of the words you used sounded effeminate, and my, very female, fiance' would have a good laugh at you inference that I am a woman. Since you know how I feel about queers, you can discount a lesbian relationship.
NO, those in .com businesses to NOT work HARD. They may work odd hours, sometimes long hours, but none of them I know,(which are quite numerous since I live in the neighborhood containing many Compaq employees) have ever raised a blister on any part of their body, or earned a callous. Because of a fortuitous happenstance, they earned fortunes by being in the right place at the right time. I do not begrudge them their fortunes, but will not accept the argument that they work, hard or otherwise.
"that offers blood sacrifice to the investment god" I will never understand where you came up with this one. I told you that I didn't invest in the market, so can hardly be offering any sort of sacrifice to an "investment god". You have a real learning problem, Boy!! (I use that word to bring attention to your tender age, so don't try to make anything ethnic of it.) ~H~ |
