Are you sure oil prices would drop under Bush? Here's why you could be wrong.

1) Bush is pro-big oil and pro-big likes high oil prices. So #1, he may not want to piss them off much and therefore won't fight this battle very hard after election.

2) It's true that compared to Gore, Bush is much less environmentally friendly and would allow more drilling even in sensitive environmental areas, but Gore is much more pro fuel cell and alternative fuels.

Think ahead! If hybid cars like the Primus from Toyota catch on and economies of scale take over on hybrid cars and Gore presses for higher gas mileage and tax credits for alternative energy technology, that may ultimately do more to both protect the environment AND reduce oil prices due to lower demand.
