Dear dmf: Gus was right [going back to my McData naming question in August]. I dropped EMC's IR a note (in August) and just received the following back: "Thank you for your note to EMC regarding McData's name. In my investigation this is what I learned. Jack McDowell is the Chairman, CEO and President (the Mc of McData) and Data is what they do....connect things to data. I hope this helps. " Regards, Lynn
