The latest Reuters/MSNBC/Zogby daily tracking poll shows the race
tightening even further, with Bush with 47 percent, Gore with 46 percent,
Nader with 5 percent and Reform Party nominee Pat Buchanan and
Libertarian Harry Browne at 1 percent each. The results reflect voters leaning
toward one candidate or another.
The poll, a rolling sample of at least 1,200 likely voters that was
conducted Thursday through Sunday, has a margin of sampling error of plus
or minus 3 percentage points.
According to the latest Newsweek poll, released Saturday, Gore leads
Bush by 44 percent to 41 percent.
