Fairfax, Virginia - November 6, 2000 - BTG, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTGI), an information systems and technical services company, announced that it is teamed with Aegis Technology Group, Inc. on a contract for the U.S. Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) in Orlando, Florida. The award is for the Small Business-Constructive portion of the STRICOM Omnibus Contract (STOC). Estimated revenue to BTG under the award is $6 million over six years.
STOC is a $4 billion, eight-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple-award contract to allow STRICOM to acquire simulation, training, modeling, test and instrumentation products and services needed throughout the Army and the Department of Defense. The contract has four lots: Constructive, Live, Virtual, and Test-Instrumentation. The Constructive lot includes war games and automated simulations with large-scale, complex, computer-driven models for exercises dealing with battalions, brigades, divisions, corps, and echelons above corps.
