BTG on Winning Team for U.S. Army Modeling and
Simulation Program

Fairfax, Virginia - November 6, 2000 - BTG, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTGI), an
information systems and technical services company, announced that it is
teamed with Aegis Technology Group, Inc. on a contract for the U.S. Army
Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) in Orlando,
Florida. The award is for the Small Business-Constructive portion of the
STRICOM Omnibus Contract (STOC). Estimated revenue to BTG under the award is
$6 million over six years.

STOC is a $4 billion, eight-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity
(IDIQ) multiple-award contract to allow STRICOM to acquire simulation,
training, modeling, test and instrumentation products and services needed
throughout the Army and the Department of Defense. The contract has four
lots: Constructive, Live, Virtual, and Test-Instrumentation. The
Constructive lot includes war games and automated simulations with
large-scale, complex, computer-driven models for exercises dealing with
battalions, brigades, divisions, corps, and echelons above corps.

BTG Vice President Marshall McRee, head of the company's Training
Development & Operations division, said the work is a continuation of BTG's
services to STRICOM programs that include the Close Combat Tactical Trainer,
the Corps Battle Simulation system, the Brigade and Battle Simulation
system, and the JANUS system. He said the company operates STRICOM Battle
Simulation Centers at 11 sites throughout the United States and provides the
Command with a wide range of engineering, logistics, systems integration,
and lifecycle software engineering support.

Modeling and simulation is a key business component of BTG. In addition to
Army STRICOM, key clients include the Office of the Secretary of Defense,
the intelligence community, service organizations, and other defense
agencies. BTG provides full life cycle support of simulation programs,
including scenario development, software development, commercial model
acquisition, human gaming, and force effectiveness analysis.

In addition to Modeling and Simulation, BTG's expert practice areas include
Integrated Logistics Support, Information and Network Security, Enterprise
Support Services and Network Management, Technology in Schools, E-Commerce,
