Hi Franz,

you should read the Wired article I linked to in the starting post. It's quite lengthy but it's also the most outstanding stuff I read about this year.

E.g. you can build "nano-robots" that chase cancer cells in your body or chase criminals by their dna(!). An essencially these nano machines are computers which huge processing power that can reproduce theirselves. They may enhance OUR lifetime to 200 years but may also endanger our species...
