I've been a UofM football fan for over twenty five years. Not only did I get my MBA there, but both parents were products of the undergraduate program.

Don't worry about twisting the knife. Michigan has lost enough close/important games while I was watching to guarantee that the knife wound is well calloused over and big enough to drive a train through.

I think they are still the most winningest college team in the country (as measured by absolute number of wins) with ND a close second. Now as for winning percentage, I'm suppose there are some Florida teams who hold that crown.

Anyway, my guess is that Purdue probably goes to the rose bowl this year and any year in which Michigan beats Ohio State is still a good year, so we still have that contest to look forward to.
