Regardless of how it turns out, I can live with it. Sure, so can I live with it. The system of checks and balances built into out constitution insures against excesses. The truth is that neither Bush or Gore can deliver on promised changes. My prediction: There will be no tax cut and There will be no change in Social Security. There will be slower growth in the economy. That has already started. If Bush is elected, he will be blamed for slower economic growth and for failing to lead towards change.
