Technocrat -- thanks for the info, but as a longtime, confused, nontechie, overly-whipsawed QNCR investor, I am a little unclear on a few things that maybe you can help me with. Subassembly? Do you mean that McData is now (at least sometimes) rebranding the Q switch as the McData switch? Or is it the Q asic now being the root of the McData switch? Would Q in turn announce an OEM win with McData? Is this more a reseller agreement? As you can see. . . while I'm excited by the thought of this news, I don't fully grasp it. :-) Thanks for any followup and thanks again for your fascinating posts through the years. the freep
