Cameron and hdl, check out the business news at Yahoo. That is where I saw it this am. IBM is coming out with a 1 Gig. microdrive next year and I think that they already have a deal with IOM to include their Bay Tray Zip 250s in their laptop computers (along with other companies like Gateway, Dell and Toshiba - 70% of the laptop market) and I think I remember that QuickSync 2 software was included as part of the deal (automatic backup should appeal to business road warriors at they just don't have or take the time to backup their files while on the road. QS-2 does this for them and can save many a backside by having backups of various versions of spreadsheets, e-mails, memos and other critical files. This inclusion isn't being viewed as selling rope to the hangman as far as we can see, Wall Street thought is was significant... over 10 million shares so far and exceeding our 52 week high today, making it all the way to 7 bucks a share! The idea is that software has huge margins and doesn't subtract from earnings as it doesn't take that much investment to turn-out licensed software deals with big corps like IBM (and the laptop makers plus American Airlines as mentioned in a recent news release from Iomega).
