Typical Bush answer, with no real thought behind the consequences of his ideas.

Bush:

1) Identified that the intent of the questioner was to ask how one felt about indoor baseball.

2) Simply stated that he preferred watching baseball played outdoors. I don't see any reason to add obvious weather related qualifications to the awnser like "I don't like watching baseball while its raining" (duh).

Gore:

1) Provided a LIST (think Carter) of useless technical information.

2)Failed to answer the original question. ("I like fun things" duh)

This seemingly trivial debate is actually very important.

Presidential Advisor:
"The Iraqis have secretly occupied a small contested region of desert on the Saudi border. What do we do?"

Bush:
"We can't let this precedent stand. Draw up three response plans and present them at a cabinet meeting this evening."

Gore:
"The origin of the this border dispute dates back a disagreement between British map makers in the 1920's, where... ...commision a poll to find out if the American people will support... ...and see if you can get the original League of Nation documents... ...make sure female fighter pilots are involved so we can put to rest any doubts... ...prepare a 1.78 billion supplemental appropriation bill... ...and I need to be briefed on the war powers act."
