Condor, RE: CSCO. . . with the high number of tech related stocks warning and lowering guidance, and disappointments from both NT and LU in the optical sector, it would be simple to conclude that CSCO will miss earnings and/or guidance as well. However, with the rapidly increasing flow of new cash into the Web Hosting/Farming sector, we must consider what that means. Such companies are branching out across the nation in an effort to bring customers closer to the info they seek. Co-Location, Managed Hosting, etc. are VERY rapidly growing areas. And since CSCO routers are still considered more or less the standard. . .and since so many of these big and expensive routers are needed by the hosts, I would guess that revenues are NOT off for CSCO. And further considering that they were not as aggressive in their acquisitions as they usually are, that the revenues could make for a positive surprise. Even then, I am staying on the sidelines until the verdict is in. . . due to market vulnerability.
Hope that helps,
