Don't know if the BXM situation is unique or not. Nor do I know if you are aware of the merger event. In BXM's case, Genzyme is buying out BXM for $38 in cash or stock. The cash portion is capped. Also, GZTR and GZSP are merging with BXM to create a new company. Are you saying that the BXM shorts can convert their short position to the new company?
