Cheeky Kid,

Your dilemma sounds easy to me.

Based on my experiences -- a Palm is best for 1) addresses, 2) to do list, and 3) calendar. Since my memory isn't the best, I use the M100 to remind me of these issues.

There is no contest, based upon my usage, for what device to use for the following issues: 1) internet access (synching on a regular basis), 2) multi-media applications, 3) games (chess is my favorite), and 4) word processing and spreadsheet applications. The HWP548 or iPaq wins easily. The current Palm OS doesn't, admittedly by the programmers and the company, have enough power to meet these needs.

Like you have said, it's all what you need.
